Ikale stakeholders pledge commitment to security as Gen. Bajowa hosts 1st Ikale Security Observers summit.

A Non- governmental Organization, Ikale Security Observers (ISO) under the Chairmanship of Aare (Prof) Salewa Olafioye has challenged all the good people of Ikale-land to rise up to protect Ikale and its environ and to see the security of the land as a collective effort.
Prof. Salewa Olafioye , Michigan based Nigerian in the Diaspora gave this indication in the course of a summit of Ikale Security Observers held via zoom yesterday , Friday, the 17th September.
The summit was an interface between members of the Organization who are in Europe and America and Ikale stakeholders including the Ikale Royal Fathers, Community leaders and opinion moulders across Ikale nation.
In his remark at the summit, Gen. Olu Bajowa, OFR, the Jagunmolu of Ikaleland and Ojagbulegun from the Source who hosted the summit at his Igbotako country home said he guaranteed his support for Ikale Security Observer project.
As the son of the soil and a retired General in the reserve list , I guarantee my support for the Ikale Security Observer project , which I understand deals with centralised security network, its operation, funding and management.
While thanking Aare Salewa Olafioye and other members of the Security Observer Group for their concern for their homestead, Gen. Bajowa said he released his house for the summit because the meeting is a unique and quite historic one.
The guest speaker at the summit, Rtd Commissioner of Police, Abayomi Akeremale, a legal luminary noted that the summit is an inaugural meeting for ” our fathers to put heads together and work out strategies in collaboration with Government to protect the lives and property of Ikale people if and when the need arises, adding that “we are first Ikale sons and daughters in order for us to become Nigerians.”
Akeremale mapped out logical strategic standpoints which can ensure the protection of Ikaleland against internal and external aggression.
Among the members of the ISO who contributed to the zoom meeting from their base in Europe and America were Aare Prof Salewa Olafioye, Chief Dayo Ayebo, President, Ikale World Congress (IWC) Prince Dokun Faduyile, Pastor Ogunmola, Prince Markson Kunle Ayeku and others.
Ikale Royal Fathers led by the Abodi of Ikaleland, His Royal Majesty, Oba George Babatunde Faduyile and Jegun of Idepe Okitipupa, Oba Michael Adetoye were physically in attendance at the security summit.
