The beauty behind a meritorious service to ones father land is always appreciated when such Civil Service worker attains retirement point and colleagues converge to celebrate him or her.

As two (2) Teachers on Thursday, 24th June, 2021, disengaged from Service, family and friends come together to celebrate them at the Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, Primary School Ode-Irele.

The Chairman of the occasion who is also a retired Teachers, as well former President of Customary Court, Ode-Irele, Pa Olowu Francis applauded Mrs. Akinbolure Modupe and Mrs. Allen Florence for their commitment and selflessness during their 35 years in service. He added that they should use the period of retirement to work for God and their communities.

The Head Teacher of the school, Mr. Adetuwo Henry described the retired Teachers as “elements of change, hope and aspiration for changing the school for better.” He also urged them “to cut their coat according to the available material.”

One of the celebrants, Mrs. Akinbolure Modupe, appreciated God for sparing her life throughout her service year and urged those in service to be committed to their work. 16 N-Power Teachers were as well sent-forth.

Speaking on the occasion, one of the beneficiaries, Akinyimika Orimisan appreciated God for the opportunity given to them by the Federal Government and encouraged those in the system to work hard and stay diligent in their service.
