ELIGIBLE VOTERS CHARGED TO REGISTER WITH INEC

Written by on April 22, 2022

As the one week voters registration exercise terminates on Friday, the 22nd April, eligible voters at Ayeka, Igbodigo/Igodan and Okunmo ward have been advised to take advantage of the window of the continued voter registration exercise to register themselves and have their permanent voter cards ahead of the 2023 General election.

Awawa FM can reliably inform that the exercise, barring any extension will end tomorrow.

Reporters from Awawa 94.1 FM who were at the venue of the exercise at Ayeka noted that a good number of prospective voters thronged the venue to register to have their respective voter cards.

An INEC staff who pleaded anonymity described the ongoing voters registration exercise as an opportunity for those who are eligible but have yet to get the voter cards to do so. She said personal data update as well as transfer of cards from one voting unit to another can also be effected during the exercise.
