Written by on June 10, 2022

Many communities in Ogun State have been thrown into another round of blackout following a reported explosion of the Ota-industrial 33KV feeder.

Newsmen gathered that there was a snap on the feeder which was caused as a result of an explosion that affected several transformers including those at Ilaro and Papalanto.

According to Ibadan Electricity Company (IBEDC), many towns and villages in Ewekoro, Ifo, Yewa South, and Ipokia Local Government Areas are in darkness.

However, the IBEDC said its technical team was working with the Transmission Company of Nigeria to ensure the power supply was restored.
