FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS ORGANIZED TRAINING FOR POLICE PERSONNEL ON HUMAN RIGHTS, RIGHTS OF THE POLICE AND CONFLICT MANAGEMENT.

Federal Government has begun training for the Nigeria Police Personnel across the geo-political zones in the country on human rights, the rights of the police, and conflict management.

The Minister of Police Affairs, Dr. Muhammad  Dingyadi, said the training was to help in broadening officers’ perspectives on innovative policing approaches ahead of the 2023 elections.

He spoke at the training with the theme ‘Psychological Development, Human Rights, the Rights of the Police and Conflict Management’ which was organised by the Nigeria Police Trust Fund in Abuja.

Represented by the Director, General Services, Mrs. Edenmaya  Brayia, the minister stated that there is a need to deepen the relationship between the police and citizens so as to harness human intelligence for crime control.
