HUMAN RIGHTS WRITERS TO PETITION BUHARI

Written by on March 25, 2022

Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria(HURIWA), on Thursday, said it would send a petition the United Kingdom and the United States over the reluctance of President Muhammadu Buhari to stop the perpetual genocide in Kaduna State.

HURIWA, in a statement by its National Coordinator, Emmanuel Onwubiko, said it is scandalous and alarming that over 37 persons were killed this week by invading marauders who attacked Agban Kagoro in the Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Sunday night.

The group said the trend of carnage in Southern Kaduna is disconcerting since 2015 when President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Nasir el-Rufai both of the All Progressives Congress came into office .
