Iju Odo Community Applauds Jagaban as He Empowers 60

No fewer than 60 participants who took part in the first phase of Jagaban Grassroot Skill Acquisition Programme held at Manuwa Memorial Grammar School, Iju Odo in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State graduated last weekend Friday 3rd September, 2021.

Areas of training include tablet and liquid soap making, balm and ointment making, laundry soap making, bleach, air freshener, emulsion and texcoat paints and many more.

At the graduation ceremony and presentation of certificates, the Oniju of Iju-odo, Oba Festus Olumoyegan commended the initiator of the programme Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, saying it is a very laudable gesture at the time when there is no employment for the young school leavers.

High Chief Samuel Akinrogunde, an Iju-odo Community Leader commended the programme as well.

One of the participants, Christianah Arede expressed her utmost joy in partaking in the skill acquisition.

It was gathered that each participant would receive a cash take-off grant to be sent to the individual’s bank account.
