IN A RELATED DEVELOPMENT , ONDO STATE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, OYEDIRAN ADETOYE

In a related development , Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Oyediran Adetoye Oyeyemi who visited police formations across Ikale land today has urged officers and men of the force to continue to display courage and commitment in the discharge of their duties as members of the Nigeria Police.

CP Oyeyemi gave this advice while addressing the police the Okitipupa Area Command.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Area Commander of Okitipupa Are Command, ACP Jimoh Saliu thanked the CP for creating time out of his busy schedule to visit the command and other police formations in the southern Senatorial District.

CP Oyediran Oyeyemi told the officers that law enforcement agents don’t go on strike and they don’t indulge in unionism , stressing that it should not be heard among them that they are planning to embark on a strike as it is being rumoured , noting that government is interested in their welfare and will definitely do the needful as regards their welfare package and working condition.

Awawa FM correspondent, Bankole Morakinyo reported that Pastor Paul Nejo and Chief Imam of Okitipupa, Alhaji Akinyemi Bagudu offered prayer at the Okitipupa Area Command during the CP’s visit.
