Man rapes five-year-old girl in Kano.
A Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Kano on Monday ordered that a 20-year-old man, Nazifi Nura, be remanded in a correctional centre for allegedly raping a five-year-old girl.
The accused, a resident of Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano, is standing trial on a one-count charge of rape.
The Prosecution counsel, Mrs Maryam Jibrin, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on March 2, in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State.
She alleged that on the fateful day at about 11:00 a.m., the defendant lured the five-year-old girl into his room and forcefully had sexual intercourse with her.
