Motorboy charged with alleged stealing

A 24-year old motor boy, Michael Oluwole has been arraigned before the Chief Magistrate Court Igodan a two(2) count charge of conspiracy and stealing.
The offences, according to prosecution are contrary to and punishable under sections 516 and 390 of the criminal code, cap 37, volume 1, law of Ondo State of Nigeria 2002.
He was alleged to had conspired with others now at large and stole laptop valued at forty-two thousand naira (#42,000), Techno phone valued for forty-eight thousand naira(#48,000), Infinix phone valued forty-five thousand naira (#45,000) property of John Glory Emmanuel. Another iPhone valued five hundred and fifty thousand naira (#550,000), aTechno phone valued seventy thousand naira (#70,000) and Laptop valued one hundred and twenty thousand naira (#120,000) property of Akintayo Samuel around 2:30qm in two different locations in Ayeka. Opposite Ojomo Petrol Station and at a second location beside Apple Bar on June 28, 2021.
He however, pleaded not guilty to both counts.
The Persecutor, Inspector Philip Segun said he has two witnesses to call, but both the complaints and witnesses were not in court. He therefore applied for a short adjournment to enable him bring the complaints and witnesses to the court.
Counsel to the accused, Barrister Omotola Odunsola, who did not oppose the adjournment application, requested for the bail of his client in a liberal term, promising credible surety.
Presiding, Senior Magistrate E.A Manuwa granted bail to the accused person in the sum of one hundred thousand naira (#100,000) and one surety in like sum.
He adjourned the case until July 9, 2021.
