Nigerians have continued to react to the conduct of INEC in the just concluded Osun Guber poll. Guests on Awawa FM Current Affairs programme lauded the electoral body for the observed improvement in their operations.

Following the just concluded Osun State Governorship election on July 16, 2022, which saw the PDP candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke emerge as the winner, several Nigerians have continued to consider the electoral conduct, in anticipation of what to expect come 2023 general election.
Speaking on Awawa Fm’s Current Affairs Programme earlier today, Chief Lebi Adepiti lauded the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, for being able to conduct a peaceful, free and fair election saying it was an improvement in the electoral process and something positive to look forward to come 2023, as things could only get better.
He also commended the Federal Government and the security Agency for their active participation in the peaceful conduct. He however said that it should serve as a challenge to the Government to further beef up security becase the general election will be a lot more intense and success in the election will require the joint effort of all and sundry.
In the same vein, Hon. Femi Agbajune commended the people of Osun for coming out in their number to cast their votes according to their conscience and also for standing with their vote as they supported both the INEC and security agencies in the proper conduct of the Election. He admitted that While vote buying was not totally absent from the process, most of them disregarded money by voting their conscience.
He therefore advised tl Nigerians to take more responsibility in the forth coming election and vote for the general good of the nation because power lies in their vote.
