Ondo State Council of Obas’ delegation pays Regent of Ayeka condolence visit

The delegation of The Ondo State Council of Obas has paid a special condolence visit to the palace of the Lumure of Ayeka. The Lumure of Ayeka kingdom, Oba Bode Ayelomi joined his ancestors not quite long and his final rites of passage has recently been completed.
As a sequel to the completion of the rites of passage of the late Oba, a regent has emerged to oversee the affairs of the town pending the emergence of the next Oba.
The new Regent whose announcement was heralded with fanfare in the town, Her Royal Highness Princess Oluyemi Bajowa, a crown princess of the deceased Oba, welcomed the council of Obas delegation to the palace. She expressed her appreciation to the Royal fathers whom she said are pillars of peace in their respective communities.
The Royal delegation was led by His Royal Majesty Oba GB Faduyile, the Abodi of Ikale Land. Other eminent Royal fathers on the epoch visit were; Oba (Prof) Sunday Adejimola Amuseghan, the Kalasuwe of Apoi Land, Oba J Ayeku, the Obagberume of Igbodigo, and Oba Festus Olumoyegun, the Oniju of Iju Odo.
Also in attendance was Prince General Olu Bajowa, the Jagunmolu of Ikale Land and Ojagbulegun from The Source and the Chiefs and High Chiefs of Ayeka Kingdom.
Speaking on behalf of the Royal fathers, the Abodi of Ikale, Oba Faduyile praised the sound and qualitative leadership of the late Lumure in the comity of Ondo State Obas, noting that Oba Ayelomi’s reign was known for peace and development of the town.
The Obas prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed Kabiyesi and also prayed for members of Ayelomi Royal family whilst wishing the Regent a peaceful and successful tenure. Similarly, the Obas advice that the Ayeka community should ensure that there is no rancor and bitterness in the succession bid for a new Lumure of Ayeka Kingdom.
