The Director of Gender Equality and Mobilization, National Association of Nigeria Students, NANS ZONE D, Comrade Temikotan Oluwaseun Omotola popularly known as Woman Leader has spoken on the implications of the incessant ASUU Strike. She expressed her view while addressing newsmen in Akure, Ondo State capital.

Temikotan appealed to the leadership of ASUU and the Federal Government to reach a positive compromise on the lingering issue of incessant strike actions.

The students’ leader emphasized the disadvantages of the strike on students. She stated that “the female gender has been exposed to numerous sexual abuses and molested by unscrupulous elements, who see the strike as an avenue to perpetrate such evil.

She further stressed that the strike would result in unnecessary compression of curriculum that should have been taught coherently, which by implication now make Nigeria Universities to award certificates to half-baked students”

However, she said she won’t hesitate to collaborate with various female student bodies to lead the female students’ massive action against the government if the strike continues without any intervention from the government.
